Publishers Press, a publication printer and digital content solution provider, has been awarded an International Gold Award for the Sappi North American Printer of the Year. The Gold award was received in the Magazines-Web category for quality printing of International Polo Club. Publishers was also presented with three Silver awards in the Magazines-Web category.
The Sappi 2014 Printers of the Year contest honored Publishers Press with three of the four selected Silver Awards. Two Silver Awards were received for the printing of Palm Beach Media Group titles: Naples Illustrated and International Polo Club Palm Beach. The additional Silver Award was earned for the printing of GulfStream Communications’ Charleston Magazine. As Silver Award winners, each title advanced as finalists in the Sappi International competition where Palm Beach Media Group’s International Polo Club Palm Beach magazine won the Gold which declared Publishers Press, a North American Printer of the Year.
This year’s Sappi winners were selected from 1700 entries submitted within 10 different categories. The categories ranged from digital printing and catalogs to brochures and direct mail. Winning pieces were chosen based on overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty, and technical excellence.
International Polo Club Palm Beach is the premier destination for high-goal polo. This prestigious annual magazine, published by the Palm Beach Media Group, covers all facets of the polo season and its distinctive lifestyle.

Winners of the Sappi North American Printer of the Year Competition were determined by a panel of highly regarded print professionals selected the winning entries based on the overall impact of the piece, degree of difficulty in printing techniques, and technical excellence.
