• Purchase ink in large bulk containers, eliminating the waste of traditional smaller metal and plastic ink cans and the cardboard boxes used to ship them.
• Installed ink levelers on all presses. This has cut ink waste by 30%.
• Offer customers recycled paper options.
• Installed color control system on presses to reduce makeready waste.
• Classified as a "Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generator," meaning we dispose of less than 220 pounds of hazardous waste per month.
• Purchased a new heat recovery system that reduces the negative air pressure in the plant to decrease our energy usage.
