To Stay Clean

• Purchased newest company truck with an ultra-low sulphur diesel engine that is "certified clean idle." This technology allows the truck to use a diesel fuel that is 97% cleaner than standard highway-use diesel.
• Eliminated isopropyl alcohol in the Pressroom, which improves air quality and employee safety.
• Implemented a 100% silverless computer-to-plate workflow to decrease the use of chemicals and water and eliminate silver as a waste.
• Installed state-of-the-art Clean Switch Pollution Control Equipment which is 99.5% effective in cleaning the air.
• Remain 100% compliant with state standards and Federal EPA and OSHA requirements with our air permits, waste disposal permits, storm water permits, and wastewater discharge.
• Maintain complete compliance with the Title V Air Permit from the state of Kentucky which requires that all inks have extremely low VOCs.
• Efforts are to exceed Federal and State requirements.
• Installed second clean-air press exhaust system, which will work with the first system to expand capacity and provide backup in case one should go down.
